The home’s massing is composed of double gable forms, clad in eastern white cedar shingles and local stone, grounding it in the local vernacular. A horizontal, corten metal-clad volume intervenes, arching outward to create a dynamic contrast and a distinct modern identity. Large expanses of glass open the interiors to sweeping harbor views, flooding spaces with natural light and fostering a seamless connection to the rustic surroundings. Wood slatting provides privacy and screening, adding texture while maintaining openness. The exterior materials—cedar, stone, and corten—carry into the interiors, blurring the line between inside and out.
