When you are working with a company with retail stores all over the world, it is imperative to have a strong office to back it up. The Luxottica Group is known as a leader in premium fashion, luxury and sports eyewear. This exciting project highlights the renovation of the Luxottica NYC office, featuring 30,000 square feet of redesigned interior space as well as a complete façade transformation.
The interior space includes two floors for 40 corporate offices, a spacious cafeteria, meeting rooms, open offices, and two large bull pin areas on both floors. The layout of Luxottica’s New York office is well thought-out and designed to produce a highly efficient work environment. The lobby entrance is a contemporary design with sleek, clean lines and an inviting feel. Planes of stainless steel, glass walls, neutral colors of dark grey and white, with a bold red accent create the space. This red accent is carried through to the new exterior of the building, as a perforated metal panel over aluminum composite panels. The majority of the façade is a curtain wall over 20 feet high, and aluminum composite panels frame the elevation. This new contemporary design will benefit our clients’ needs greatly, as well as bring architecture into the community.
